Moving to Alaska in 1998 from Idaho was my first great adventure as a young woman. I trusted my instincts and followed my heart as I drove my SUV up the Alcan Highway, to what I feel is the wildest land in America. I am grateful, as though that moment has passed, there are still more great adventures to be had every day... this time as a wife, mother, and doctor.
