Do you hear what I hear? Trouble is brewing this Holiday Season. Currently, we have more people under treatment for diabetes than at any previous point in the history of our nation and our communities. Approximately 1.4 million people are diagnosed each year including thousands of our children, and the most unfortunate part is that 1 out of 4 people are experiencing their own Silent Night because they don’t even know that they have it right now. What if that is you, or someone you love?
Wouldn’t life feel more like an easy stroll through a Winter Wonderland if you were given some simple steps to take control over your health and prevent this disabling condition from impacting your life? You don’t have to be the 1 out of 3 who will be experiencing this condition in their lifetime but instead once you know what to do you can achieve predictable results in your health while making certain that the only surprises you need to concern yourself with are the ones under a beautifully decorated holiday tree.
Our ‘Deck the Halls with Diabetes’ Workshop will help you understand that this condition is not something that you wake up and suddenly are burdened with, like a piece of coal in your stocking or an unwanted holiday sweater. It is a process that is largely fed over time with naughty lifestyle choices that are relatively easy and effortless to change.
Furthermore, the CDC estimates that nearly 245 million dollars are spent per year on Diabetes and we all know that there are no Black Friday specials for these treatments. In many homes, Medical Bills and an Insulin Shot are replacing the gift of Two Partridges in a Pear Tree on the 12th Day of Christmas.
We are dedicating this night to our patients and the members of our community to expand your knowledge on how to protect you and your family. We want to help our patients and our neighbors in the community to create their absolute best life possible and are truly passionate about helping each one of them to do everything they can to avoid becoming another disease statistic.
I’m asking you to join me for a fun and informative workshop on the evening of December 8th at 6pm that will expose what diabetes is, what causes it and what you can do about it. We will reveal the Holiday Makeover that will keep you healthy and happy so that your season is merry and bright.
All I want for Christmas is you - to be healthy and happy.
See you soon.
