Front Desk Assistant
I was born in Hawaii, and moved to Anchorage, Alaska at age 14 and completed my high school education. At age 17, I moved to Nevada where I was a collegiate student athlete at the University of Nevada. After earning my Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2007, I moved back to Alaska. Since then, I have worked in various areas of health care including, psychiatry, optometry, and now chiropractic.
My personal journey with Chiropractic care stemmed from my very first migraine at age 11. I remember it clearly because it started during my first school dance in the sixth grade. I was embarrassed and confused by such immense pain. Unfortunately, the migraine episodes would continue into my adult life with no relief from medications or other remedies. It wasn't until my late twenties, that I would find relief through Chiropractic Care. Now working with Dr. Ryan and the team at Whole Family Chiropractic, I am actively addressing the causes of the pain that has hindered me. I hope to spread the message to other families who may struggle with pain no matter the age, that Chiropractic care can be the relief that they seek.
When I'm not working or spending time with my family, I love to give back to my community. I have more than 10 years of experience coaching school aged children in competitive cheer and have coached several first place teams. For me, it is the most rewarding experience to be able to influence my community in a positive and uplifting way. Working at Whole Family Chiropractic allows me the privilege of serving my community with my whole heart
